Mercedes Benz Fashion Week goes to Ibiza

The hotel Ushuaia Tower hosted last Saturday afternoon one of the most glamourous fashion events of the summer. For the first time,  Mercedes Benz Fashion Week moved to Ibiza to feature the new collections of some of the Spanish designers of the moment. The open-air terrace of the hotel, with the sea at the background and the magic light of the sunset, was the best setting to show that fashion made in Spain is killing it!

Desigual opened the catwalk featuring lots of denim and vibrant colours.  Merel from World Family Ibiza starred in the parade, wearing a psychedelic-printed dress in white and spreading great vibes on the catwalk. At Desigual life is full of happiness for girls who love to play.

Andrés Sardá

Swimwear that best fits the women showed a collection of bikinis, swimsuits and fashion beach wear in metallic tones, daring designs and sexy openings. A must: crochet dresses and tops with metallic flashes and Swarovski crystals details. It’s time to glow!

Teresa Heblig

Teresa Heblig featured white dresss, vaporous and very romantic. The perfect outfits to enjoy the magic sunsets of Ibiza. We also saw sixties geometric designs, tropical details and California waves. A mix that is pure Wanderlust.

Jorge Vázquez

The designer from A Coruña introduced a collection with ruffles, minimal cuts, geometric prints and tropical inspiration. Designs for urban stylish women who know how to look perfect from day to night.  A must have: tropical maxidresses. Anyone fancy a Margarita?

Arnaud Maillard and Álvaro Castejón presented their new Crucero 2018 collection as the new kings of the deluxe beachwear. Transparencies, glitter, gold and silver, animal print and brocaded fabrics for a luxury nomad who always ends up in Ibiza. Pure cuts and  tones of glamor to ended a night illumined by blazing torches.
