Ibiza celebrated yesterday the Fashion Revolution Day with a great fashion show at Boulevard Abel Matutes featuring 10 Ibizan designers to support fair trade and ethical and sustainable fashion. This is a global movement calling for greater transparency, sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry. Fashion Revolution is the #whomademyclothes campaign in April, which happens at the time of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, where 1,138 people were killed and many more injured on 24th April 2013.
Adlib Etikology by Nanou Couture, BSF Man, Tanit Jeans, Espardenyes Torres and K by Kose-Kose Priveé showed their slow fashion collections. The event also had the designers Mammisi, Miusutin, Organic Cotton Colors, Beatriz Constan, and Factor Tree. Spanish actress Patricia Montero and her husband Álex Adróver where invited to the event.
The fashion show was organized by the Consell Insular d’Eivissa and Etikology by Nanou Couture. At the end it was a raffle for the benefit of the Association Against Cancer Elena Torres.
