Destino Ibiza hosted last Saturday one of the coolest events of the summer: Pacha’s 50th aniversary. More than 3000 people attended the performance of “Ibiza Classics” featuring Pete Tong and The Heritage Orchestra. An exciting journey through the history of dance music played by an orchestra composed of 65 musicians and directed by Jules Buckley.
We could see there Djs David Guetta and Bob Sinclar, actresses Juana Acosta and Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, stylist Pelayo Díaz, entrepreneur Kike Sarasola, pilot Roberto Mehri, models Lorena Van Heerde and Mireia Canalda, former president of AC Milan, Adriano Galliani, swimmer Felipe López and fashion designer Alma Aguilar.
See below some images of the photocall and the event.

No one wanted to miss the anniversary of the world’s most famous cherries. Five decades since a visionary Ricardo Urgell opened the first Pacha club in Sitges in 1967. A few years later, an old peasant house located in the countryside of Ibiza was destined to become the most famous nightclub in the world. It was the year 1973 and many hippies moved to Ibiza. Artists, intellectuals, celebrities … Pacha was the place where everyone wanted to be, although that did not like the authorities of the Francoist Spain too much. But the revolution was unstoppable. Times of freedom and utopia had started and Pacha was the symbol of a new era. The rest is history.
