Las Dalias, then and now

“Las Dalias. 60th anniversary” is the table book that every lover of Ibiza should have at home to know was the island in the past and how evolved till today. Pics of the hippies in the 60s and 70s, the history of the market since it opened its doors in the 80’s to the present, images of the most magical places on the island and interviews with protagonists who have built a place that is already a legend. The book, presented this summer to celebrate the birth of las Dalias cafe and club in 1954, is a real treat that lets you travel through time to discover what it was like Ibiza before the  tourism: pristine beaches, ramshackle streets, women wearing the traditional dresses while the first hippies were arriving to the island  (featured image) and an atmosphere of freedom that soon made Ibiza famous worldwide.
