Today we pay our tribute to the artist Sola, who died on January 2 at the age of 53, after suffering a long illness. She was versatile, adventurous, creative and the soul of some of the most famous events held in Ibiza in the 90s. Sola was born in Germany and moved to Ibiza in the late 80s. She became very popular for the popular rave parties in the countryside, that attracted thousands of people. Her original ceramic medallions inspired by the Punic legends were the key to access to these mythical events, in which the artist created a psychedelic world with spectacular decorations (featured image). Her talent as a decorator and muralist led her to work in major clubs in Ibiza and venues in Europe.
